Thai style Pancake on Koh Lanta, Thailand

Thai style pancake is really more like a cake, more crumby, and can be very thick, they give a lot of baking powder in the dough. Sometimes it tastes through. The pancake ist served with honey sauce.

Roti Pisang in Hat Yai, Thailand

This was a special one, and – yes, I saw how they made it.  

A ready ball of pastry for roti canai was rolled out very thin. Meanwhile they sliced a banana and stired it with raw egg and some spoonfull of sweet milk. Then put the pastry into an pan, fried it for short time, put the egg-banana-mix in the middle and when the mass begins to dry, folded twice.

Topped with sweet milk and cut into bite-size pieces it was a very pleasant breakfast. Tasted like pudding inside.
